Sinotique was founded in 1992, and was formerly located at 19-A Mott st. in the historic district of Chinatown. Photographer Tim Lee
Being the youngest in my family I had the good fortune of having older brothers and sisters, one a professional artist and stylist, another a musician and composer, and one a photographer,who exposed me to a higher level of aesthetics than the average kid. My brother Tim taught me a lot about photography over the years, I even assisted him one summer when he ran his photography business out of a loft in Chelsea 20 years ago. Tim moved himself and his career to East Hampton, where he grew up, about 15 years ago wherre he continues to photograph interiors and still life for retail stores and decorators. You might know Tim's work from seeing the ads in HC&G for Fisher's antiques in Sag Harbor.
