recently made table for penthouse in Battery Park City
the simplicity of this table made it especially challenging. The architect required me to make a walnut trim detail around the perimeter that was sharply angled under the table top. This required a lot of solid walnut that had to be milled from 3" thick stock. with the help of a friend who had a "CNC" machine I was able to accomplish the milling of the trim. The bamboo inlay was done in a radial patter with an octagon in the middle.
